Established in 1946 by William Hargreaves, we have a proud history dating back more than 70 years. William believed that the business’s core values should embody the day-to-day reality of how you do business. Quality, integrity, transparency and professionalism were therefore traits that he instilled in the business from day one. Hargreaves Contracting as we know it today was established in 2011 and although the business has evolved significantly over the decades, those traditional values remain firmly in place.OUR HISTORY
We work on projects of all sizes and complexities, across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, health, education, leisure and residential. In partnership with our established supply chain, we deliver buildings that will stand the test of time, with a big emphasis on environmental and social sustainability.See For Yourself

We recently handed over the final stage of New Wellington Street for Great Places Housing Group. We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to work on this project – it’s a scheme that has transformed a redundant brownfield site into a development that will see the community sustainably transformed by providing homes that people feel proud to live in. We wish the new residents of the 42 affordable new homes all the very best and we look forward to working with GPHG again in the future to bring more of their vision to life.
