Holchem Laboratories are a leader in the speciality chemical manufacturing industry providing market leading technical service and customer support, coupled with a comprehensive range of high quality cleaning and disinfection chemicals, application and dispensing equipment along with hygiene systems.
Supporting a variety of sectors including; food processors, food outlets, bars, accommodation and retail operations, local breweries and beverage plants to multinational brewing organisations - Holchem provide hygiene solutions to many well-known names.
Due to continued growth the company relocated in 2013 to a single 9 acre site close to Bury. Hargreaves Contracting was appointed to completely modernise, refurbish and extend an existing building on the site to provide over 105,000 sq.ft of process area, warehousing and technical centre along with new offices, food factory standard changing facilities, first-aid room, staff canteen, communal break-out areas and a staff gym. The entire warehouse is covered by a modern ESFR sprinkler system and associated fire protection.
The scheme also involved constructing a significant underground surface water retention system along with reinforced concrete tank farms.
