Hargreaves Contracting celebrated its 11th birthday over the weekend! Our birthday marks another year of delivering exceptional projects, made possible by our exceptional people and supply chain partners. We’d also like to take this anniversary opportunity to sincerely thank our loyal and much valued clients – our continued growth and success simply wouldn’t have been possible without you!
Here’s to the next 11 years!
We are pleased to have secured the role of Principal Contractor at Cranswick Foods' site in Pilsworth. The project comprises extensive internal re-purposing of their existing food production facility. They’re renowned for their commitment to facilities, people and sustainability and we are proud to be able to add them to our existing portfolio of blue chip FMCG clients which include Princes, Inbev, Warburtons, Westmill and Lidl.

We are delighted to welcome on board Jonathan Cocker who joins us as Commercial Manager. Jonathan is a highly experienced construction professional bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience honed over many years working at senior level in the North West construction arena. Jonathan's extensive residential experience will further enhance our offering to our much valued RP Client base.
We recently handed over the final stage of New Wellington Street for Great Places Housing Group. We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to work on this project – it’s a scheme that has transformed a redundant brownfield site into a development that will see the community sustainably transformed by providing homes that people feel proud to live in. We wish the new residents of the 42 affordable new homes all the very best and we look forward to working with GPHG again in the future to bring more of their vision to life.
We are delighted to have been appointed by AB Inbev to provide construction services in connection with their £45m investment into the Brewery at Samlesbury. The extra capacity will enable them to increase capacity in brewing, canning and bottling by the equivalent of 630 million pints a year, as well as create 23 new jobs.
Hats off to Shaun Sturdy and Nicola Kitchin on achieving their incredible goal of completing The Lancashireman Off-Road Marathon in memory of Gerry.
